The Reservationist Scheduler plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and customer-focused scheduling
of ADA paratransit services. This position is responsible for handling trip reservations, coordinating

Perfil

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Answer incoming calls and assist passengers with trip reservations, cancellations, and inquiries.
  •  Schedule and confirm ADA-compliant transportation services using scheduling software.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers and drivers to ensure timely and accurate trip execution.
  • Maintain detailed records of passenger interactions and trip data.
  • Provide backup support to dispatch and customer service teams as needed.
  •  Communicate effectively with passengers, especially those with special needs, ensuring a respectful
  • and supportive experience.
  • Monitor trip capacity and optimize route efficiency.
  •  Handle service disruptions or changes with professionalism and prompt communication.
  •  Ensure compliance with ADA guidelines and company policies.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  •  Prior experience in customer service, scheduling, or transportation preferred.
  • Familiarity with ADA regulations and paratransit operations is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Proficiency in scheduling software and basic computer applications.
  • Work Environment:
  •  Office-based with frequent phone and computer use.
  • May require occasional support during off-hours or emergencies
