RATP Dev USA – Lextran Wheels is hiring Paratransit Bus Drivers to join our transportation team in Lexington, Kentucky.

As a Paratransit Bus Driver, you will provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation to passengers who may have disabilities, mobility challenges, or require specialized transportation services.
Pay: $17.16 per hour

Profile
What You’ll Do
Safely operate a paratransit bus and provide passenger transportation throughout the Lexington area.
Transport passengers safely and on schedule.
Provide excellent customer service to passengers.
Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus when needed.
Secure wheelchairs, mobility devices, and other passenger equipment.
Follow assigned routes, schedules, and transportation procedures.
Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Report vehicle maintenance, safety, or passenger concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Maintain accurate trip and passenger records.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, passengers, and other team members.
Follow all company safety policies and applicable transportation regulations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional bus environment.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Dependable attendance and a professional attitude.
Ability to safely assist passengers with mobility needs.
Ability to follow schedules, routes, and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to remain professional and calm when working with passengers.
Previous bus driver, transit driver, paratransit driver, shuttle driver, commercial driver, or passenger transportation experience is a plus.
CDL experience is a plus but not required if the candidate can meet applicable company and regulatory requirements.
