Mission
Mission:
Reservationists ensure the continuity, efficiency, and effectiveness of paratransit services by scheduling rides and delivering timely, accurate, and courteous assistance to passengers and the public.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answers incoming calls from riders requesting trips.
- Accurately schedules pickup and drop-offs based on availability
- Enters trip details into scheduling software
- Modifies or cancels reservations as requested
- Assists riders with questions about services, policies, and trip status
- Handles complaints or concerns calmly and professionally
- Ensures trips meet service guidelines
- Provides clear instructions regarding pickup windows, fares, and procedures
- Communicate scheduling updates to dispatchers and drivers
- Documents call details, cancellations, no-shows, and incidents
- Support riders in urgent or sensitive situations
- Other duties as assigned by management
Profile

- Strong communication and listening skills
- Patience and empathy when working with vulnerable populations
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced call center environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is preferred
- Public transportation experience preferred
- Prior dispatch/supervisory experience preferred
