RATP Dev USA, operating Visalia Transit, is now hiring a Part-Time Bus Driver. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to start a career in public transportation with paid CDL training provided.
No CDL is required to apply. We will train qualified candidates to become a Transit Bus Driver and obtain a CDL-B with Passenger endorsement.
Responsibilities (Bus Driver)
- Safely operate a transit bus on assigned routes
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers
- Assist riders with boarding, including ADA passengers
- Maintain route schedules and safe driving practices
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow DOT and company safety requirements
Qualifications (Bus Driver)
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Safe driving record
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical
Pay and Benefits (Bus Driver)
- Starting pay of $26.69 per hour
- Paid CDL training
