Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Safely operate transit buses through city streets and freeway traffic
• Provide excellent customer service to all passengers
• Follow assigned routes and make designated stops
• Assist passengers with disabilities, including wheelchair lifts and restraints
• Complete pre‑trip inspections and DVIRs
• Communicate incidents, detours, and updates to dispatch
• Follow all safety policies, traffic laws, and operational procedures
• Handle fare collection and passenger counts accurately
• Report accidents or unusual incidents properly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Must pass a DOT Physical
• Ability to work various shifts (schedule based on seniority)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to operate large vehicles safely (training provided if needed)
