Mission
As part of the Talent Acquisition team, you’ll partner with local leadership—including the General Manager and HR Manager—based in Prince George’s County. You’ll take ownership of recruiting full-cycle for bus operator and support roles, ensuring the regional transit operations continue to run smoothly and deliver exceptional service.
Profile
Key Responsibilities
- Support GM and site leadership in defining short- and long-term staffing strategies to meet headcount needs.
- Execute forecasting and talent planning to support operational demands.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions and coordinate candidate sourcing.
- Use online platforms, social media, and community outreach to build brand awareness and attract regional candidates.
- Screen resumes, lead calls and interviews, manage ATS updates, and evaluate candidate eligibility (including background and drug screening).
- Maintain talent pipelines to ensure candidate engagement for current and future openings.
- Analyze turnover trends and implement retention strategies.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure compliance with hiring standards and local regulations.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance with all hiring and employment regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in talent acquisition.
- Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated familiarity with social media sourcing, resume databases, and professional networks.
- Solid communication, organizational, and follow-through skills; able to manage multiple projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently under tight deadlines.
- Experience partnering with local schools, workforce agencies, and community resources for outreach.

- Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of the organization and stakeholders.
