Mission
- Primary lead on recruitment and onboarding of new hires
- Assist with benefit enrollment, open enrollment, and communicating benefits information to employees
- Data Collection: reporting and analysis of workforce data to include active census and turnover
- Works closely with third-party administrators to timely and accurately perform necessary functions related to employee benefits, regulatory reports, and compliance requirements
- Assist with routing and coding invoices from vendors and suppliers
- Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database
- Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions
- Assists with HR special projects
- Conduct New Hire Orientation
- Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status
- Responds to Leave of Absence Verifications
- Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
- Assists employees and management with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures
- Other duties may be required and assigned
Profile
Three to five years of HR related experience, or an Associate degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, with a combination of education and experience. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Work experience in the Transit Industry is a plus but not required.
