Mission

  • Primary lead on recruitment and onboarding of new hires
  • Assist with benefit enrollment, open enrollment, and communicating benefits information to employees
  • Data Collection: reporting and analysis of workforce data to include active census and turnover
  • Works closely with third-party administrators to timely and accurately perform necessary functions related to employee benefits, regulatory reports, and compliance requirements
  • Assist with routing and coding invoices from vendors and suppliers
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database
  • Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions
  • Assists with HR special projects
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation
  • Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status
  • Responds to Leave of Absence Verifications
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
  • Assists employees and management with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures
  • Other duties may be required and assigned

Profile

Three to five years of HR related experience, or an Associate degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, with a combination of education and experience. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

 Work experience in the Transit Industry is a plus but not required.
